Belt Federation of Human Habitats
In the second half of the 22nd century, the Consortium started space mining operations in Sol’s main asteroid belt. Almost three centuries later, an experimental habitat was set up on Vesta. The success of this experiment led to the gradual colonization of the larger asteroids.
In 2633, the ten asteroid habitats (Vesta, Palla, Ceres, Metis, Hygeia, Europa, Cybele, Juno, Interamnia, Euphrosyne) became an officially recognized colony, known as the Belt Federation of Human Habitats.
